Why I Stopped Being a Minimalist after a Decade Although I’m Crazy About the Environment

I have many interests, but I do not enjoy collecting things. Thanks to technology I can admire many things from afar, which frees my home environment with space.

As a Los Angeles native, and still residing, it is easy to fall into the trap of working hard to be “the greatest.”

No matter the industry you are in.

At least that’s what people who are not born and raised in LA tell me.

Moving on.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been a minimalist before it was a thing. I would always question my mom why we needed so many things if it was just the four of us.

Living with a selfish mentality, I joined the “minimalist tribe,” and decided its not worth it, after a decade.

Let me explain.

Being a minimalist has its pros such as the one I listed below;

  1. There is so much space. I love space. I am a very black & white type of person who only uses dashes of color in everything that I do.

It also has its cons similar to the one listed below;

  1. You always run out of stuff.
